Positions Vacant: Veterinary Assistant

Pets Central provides veterinary care and retail services. We have five branches and a mobile clinic. We are expanding and looking for people who have passion for working with pets in the veterinary industry to fill the following positions.

1) Experienced Day Veterinary Assistant

• 30 hours - 50 hours week / 3 - 5 days week;
• Work location: North Point / Tseung Kwan O.

2) Experienced Night Veterinary Assistant

• Working hour: 8:00p.m. - 8:30a.m.;
• 4 shifts week;
• Work location: North Point / Sai Kung.

Post 1) & 2)
Job Description:

• Reporting to the location Hospital Manager;
• Duties include assisting with the day-to-day smooth operation of a Veterinary hospital;
• Supporting Veterinary Surgeons;
• Nursing care of animals;
• Assist with general inquiries.

Requirements:

• Two years relevant working experience is a must;
• Certificate in veterinary nursing / relevant studies is an advantage;
• Genuine love and care for animals is essential;
• Excellent customer services skills;
• Self-motivated, independent and good interpersonal skills required.

3) Customer Service Assistant

Job Description:

• 30 hours - 50 hours week / 3 - 5 days week;
• Reporting to the Manager to assist in smooth running of the reception area of the hospital;
• Answer telephone calls promptly and politely and take messages accurately;
• Greet visitors in a professional and courteous manner;
• Manage, coordinate and administer consultation booking / appointments;
• Responsible for reports / records as well as the filing system;
• Assist in stock taking and inventory controls, pricing and shelf packing;
• Assist in coordinating and organizing ad hoc projects and company events.

Requirements:

• Two years relevant work experience in hospitality and pet care industry preferred but not essential;
• Tertiary education in relevant studies is an advantage;
• Genuine love and care for animals is essential;
• Excellent customer services skills and a good team player;
• Fluent in English and Chinese is preferred;
• Self-motivated, independent and good interpersonal skills are essential;
• Work location: Sai Kung;
• Fresh graduate will also be considered.
