• How to talk to clients about cancer
• How to present main cancer treatment modalities (drug therapy, surgery, radiation therapy)
• How to manage side effects of these treatment.

Dr Maureen Cooper:
Dr Maureen Cooper is originally from Canada however she now proudly has dual citizenship with Australia. She obtained her veterinary degree at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. She completed a rotating small animal internship at Purdue University in Indiana, USA. Dr Cooper then spent time in both general and referral practice in New York and later in Melbourne. She completed her residency in Veterinary Oncology at the Melbourne Veterinary Specialist Centre and then became a Fellow in the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists in Oncology in 2010. Given the deep human-animal bond, Dr Cooper feels passionate about providing complete cancer care for families who elect to treat their pet's cancer. Her other passions include AFL footy and being a mum of three kids.

Dr Laura Brockley:
Dr Laura Brockley obtained her Bachelor of Veterinary Science from the University of Melbourne. She then worked in a variety of small animal and mixed practices in Victoria and the United Kingdom, including volunteering her services in an underprivileged area in the Baltics. Laura completed an internship and residency in Veterinary Oncology at the Melbourne Veterinary Specialist Centre in 2011. In 2009 she achieved membership of the Small Animal Medicine Chapter of the Australian College Veterinary Scientists and received the Chapter Award.
