At Paws and Tails Veterinary Hospital, we're seeking veterinary assistants and customer service receptionists to join our amazing team. Our hospital, located in Sheung Wan/Sai Yin Pun, is rapidly expanding, and we need talented and dedicated staff to help us provide the best care to our clients and patients.
Our chief Vet Dr. Ryan Chuang is enthusiastic about teaching, and we'll ensure that our staff are trained using the most up-to-date knowledge, enabling them to provide the best care possible. You'll be able to learn all kinds of technical skills, including blood sampling, injection skill, performing dental radiograph, cystocentesis, familiar with microscope for routine cytology, and much more.
We care about our staff, and our hospital design and equipment are user-friendly to make your job easier. We use the Ezyvet system to save you lots of time entering client notes and spending more time engaging with clients. We provide a comfortable staff rest area, and all staff are trained with a hands-free technique when completing X-rays to avoid any exposure to radiation.
We have a wideclient base made up of friendly, compassionate, and understanding people, making the working environment much less stressful. Plus, all of our equipment is top-of-the-range, including ultrasound, digital X-ray, dental X-ray, IDEXX blood test, IDEXX urinalysis reader, vessel sealing machine, automatic anesthetic machine, and more.
Veterinary Assistants
Requirement
- At least 1 year of veterinary assistant
- fluent Chinese and English speaking and writing skills
- Good communication skills
- Good team player
- Self-motivated, patient and willing to learn
- Animal lover
Responsibilities
- Assist during veterinary consultations and surgeries
- Handle lab work, take care of hospitalization cases
- Performing different kind of examination tests
- Communicate with clients and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain clinic hygiene and cleanliness
Customer Service Receptionist
Requirement
- Fluent in Chinese and English speaking and writing
- Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role are preferred
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with clients in a professional and friendly manner.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors with a warm and friendly welcome
- Answer phone calls and emails in a timely and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the hospital's appointment book.
- Assist clients with check-in and check-out procedures
- Handle payments and process invoices.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, including stocking supplies
