VEC is a 24-hour veterinary hospital that provides both general practitioner and emergency services. Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with a wide range of diagnostic equipment, including ultrasound, radiography machines, dental machines, dental x-ray, and a CT scanner. As a Night and Day Shift Veterinarian, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of cases and build your expertise in both general practitioner and emergency care.

We are seeking a Night and Day Shift Veterinarian to join our team:

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily routine consultations and procedures, such as dental work, vaccinations, and health certificates
  • Handle emergency cases, e.g. foreign body ingestion, C-sections, and urethral obstructions
  • Triage walk-in cases and provide necessary stabilization
  • Work up medical cases and provide second opinions
  • Provide in-hospital care and communicate updates to owners
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of veterinarians with different skill sets

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in the veterinary field, preferably with emergency and critical care experience.
  • Fresh graduates with a positive attitude and willingness to learn are also welcome.
  • Ability to work in rotational night shifts and handle high-pressure situations.
  • Commission-based contract.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
