Position Vacant: Veterinary Assistant
HK Island East Small Animal and Exotic Veterinary Centre is looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate individual to join our team. The clinic locates near Taikoo MTR station, leading by a veterinarian with Master in Companion Animal and MANZCVS in Unusual pets Medicine and Surgery.
Responsibilities:
- To assist veterinarian during consultations and monitor patients during surgeries
- To manage and take care of any in-hospital patients
- To perform routine in-house laboratory procedures
- To keep tidiness and cleanliness of the equipment as well as the hospital
- To communicate and liaise professionally with clients
- To maintain and record stock levels
- To dispense medications, take up phone calls and making appointments
- To take out any ad hoc procedures as directed by supervisor
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of veterinary nursing experience
- Experience in exotics is preferred but not essential
- Possess of AIRC Cert II/IV will be an advantage
- An Animal lover, enthusiastic, hardworking attitude
- Self-motivated, independent and good interpersonal skills required
- Fluent in both English and Cantonese
