Harvest Veterinary Oncology Centre (HVOC) is seeking a Board-Certified Veterinarian Specialist in Internal Medicine to join our dynamic and collaborative team! We are an integrated animal hospital designed to meet the diverse demands of animal healthcare by offering a full spectrum of clinical services to our patients, in addition to 7-day Critical Care coverage.

What makes us different:
HVOC is equipped with a Linear Accelerator (Linac) for radiotherapy, a Positron Emission Tomography – Computed Tomography (PET-CT) scanner and a 1.5T Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanner for medical imaging.

As a Veterinarian Specialist in Internal Medicine, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating complex medical conditions in our animal patients. Your expertise will allow you to provide advanced medical care, ensuring that each pet receives the personalized treatment they need.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-depth examinations and assessments to diagnose illnesses and conditions.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic techniques, including ultrasound, endoscopy, and laboratory testing.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians, specialists, and pet owners to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and continue professional development.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with veterinary standards.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
  • Registered with HKVSB Specialist in Internal Medicine
  • Proficiency in diagnostic imaging and laboratory diagnostics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex medical cases.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey medical information to pet owners clearly and compassionately.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
