We are a well-established veterinary group in Hong Kong, and we are now looking for high caliber individuals to join our expanding team.
Under our team of professionals, we aim to grow as a company and individually, by allowing and advocating for personal development within the veterinary environment. We are seeking excited individuals to fulfill these positions:
1. Vet / Senior Vet
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide consultation and professional advise to investigate procedures independently and ensure our patients receive the best possible care
- Provide excellent customer service and able to build lasting customer relationships
- Perform surgery, provide hospital care and ensure daily routine runs smoothly and independently
- For Senior Vet, lead our team in emergency situations and handle emergencies smoothly
- Great team member
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 2 years or more of small animal clinical practice experience, more than 10 years of experience would be considered as Senior Vet, for less experience candidates still considered as junior vet
- Possess good communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and veterinarians
- Possess a professional and positive attitude
- Responsible and highly motivated
- Show calmness and compassion even in stressful situations
- Eligible to register with the HKVSB and able to work in Hong Kong
- Able to perform overnight shift, if necessary
2. Experienced VA
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist veterinarians with complex surgeries, consultations, diagnostic imaging, and other procedures
- Dispense medication according to clinic policies and veterinarian instructions
- Good client service and outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong knowledge of veterinary medications, treatments, and procedures
- Good Translation Skills and confidence in client communication
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Vet Nurse
- Certificate in veterinary nursing is an advantage
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and overnight shift, if necessary
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
3. Vet Tech
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist veterinarians during medical or diagnostic procedures and emergency surgeries
- Perform routine laboratory work such as urinalysis, blood test and x-ray
- Assist veterinarians with complex surgeries, consultations, diagnostic imaging, and other procedures
- Provide inpatient and emergency care to hospital patients, assist with incoming emergencies and be responsible for case handovers each day
- Collect and record animal case histories
- To perform overnight duty
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Vet Tech in small animal clinical practice experience is preferrable
- Self-motivated, able to work independently or under pressure, with outstanding communication and interpersonal skill
- Team player and good team spirit
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in medical sciences or veterinary technology
