Position Vacant – Full time Veterinary Assistant
Sunshine City Veterinary Clinic is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team!
We are a well-established small animal clinic located in Ma On Shan dedicated to providing quality care to our clients and patients. We are well equipped with Idexx laboratory equipment, digital radiography, dental radiography, IM3 dental equipment and ultrasonography. We are committed to providing a friendly and professional work environment, understand the importance of work life balance and we are happy to support nurses in further education.
Job requirements:
- At least 1 year minimum experience as a veterinary assistant
- Good command of Cantonese and English
- Passionate about working with animals
- Strong work ethic and good communication skills
- Able to work effectively in a team
- Basic computer skills
- AIRC certification or equivalent is preferred but not required
Responsibilities:
- Assisting veterinarians in consultations, routine and surgical procedures
- Handling client enquiries, customer service and client communication
- Running in-house laboratory tests
- Providing care to hospitalised patients
- Helping to maintain the cleanliness of the clinic
