Unique opportunity - Night & Day Vet position in Hong Kong

Join our progressive 24-hour hospital (50% exotics, 50% small animals), with exceptional facilities: 16-slice CT, digital radiography, various sizes flexible and rigid Storz endoscopes, ultrasound, echocardiography, laparoscopic surgery, ultrasound, cryosurgery, IDEXX lab suite/Abaxis machines, IM3 dental x-rays, dedicated hot and cool wards, and specialized canine, feline and exotic ICU units.

Our friendly team of 7 vets includes 2 exotic certificate holders. We have a close-knit, international team, with experienced vets and nurses from all over the world. During nights, our vets take care of canine, feline and exotic emergencies with their dedicated team of 2 Nurses and Vet Techs.

Our vets enjoy free access to the MVH library with several scientific publications (including the Journal of Emergency and Critical Care, JSAP, JFMS, VetClinNorthAm and JAVMA), VetGirl CPD platform, VIN, and direct access to advice from specialists in various disciplines within the group.

Who we are looking for:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring small animal vet to join our amazing night team - either solely on night shift, or on rotation (a few months on day shift then a few months on night shift).

  • Experience of minimum 2 years is required, but we will consider younger candidates with Emergency and Critical Care experience.
  • Previous knowledge of exotics is not needed, as we will provide comprehensive training in exotics emergency medicine and surgery.
  • Knowledge of Cantonese is an advantage – but not necessary - as the team can speak English and your nurses will translate for you.

Your degree must be registrable with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Hong Kong.
