Rendy specializes in providing tailored legal services for the healthcare industry. Her scope of expertise includes legal risk management and compliance required for medical clinics and groups, and helping medical professionals, veterinarians to defend against disciplinary allegations at VSB and other professional bodies.
Rendy has over 15 years of experience as a lawyer and has practiced law at both Baker McKenzie and Yu, Chan & Yeung Solicitors. Subsequently, she also served as an in-house legal consultant for commercial enterprises, gaining practical business insights. Possessing in-depth understanding of commercial concerns for enterprises and needs of professionalisms, she has acted for both vets and vet clinics ranging from sole proprietors to large vet clinic chains in Hong Kong in the past 5 years.
Rendy holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, an Honors Bachelor of Laws from the University of Birmingham, and a Master of Laws in Corporate and Financial Law from the University of Hong Kong. She is also an Executive MBA graduate from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Rendy attained the Negotiation for Lawyers Certificate from Harvard University and the Mediation Practice Course from HKU Space. Rendy sits on a number of government appointed committees. She was awarded the Hong Kong Elite and Professional Women Award in 2013 and is the President for Zonta Club of the New Territories II (2022-24).
