Fees for both events which can be paid on the night (by cash or cheque payable to 'HKVA Ltd') are $50 for members and $150 for non members (there also is chance to join the HKVA at the seminars). A light curry supper will be available plus a cash bar. These will be informal and social evenings in which participants will be encouraged to share their thoughts and experiences on the topic and hopefully learn from the experiences of others, please make every effort to attend. |

lists This conference will unite researchers from academia and industry to discuss the latest developments in genetics and genomics of prevention of disease in farmed, wild, and companion animals. The progress of future research to protect animal health requires deliberate multi-species and multi-disciplinary integration. State-of-the-science presentations from invited speakers and contributed papers will provide the foundation for futuristic discussions of the role of genomics in improving animal and human health. Satellite event: a two-day short course on statistical design and analysis of microarray experiments will be offered by Dr. Daniel Nettleton, Department of Statistics, Iowa State University, July 11 - 12, 2005.
